Featuring the award winning fourth generation Super CCD SR sensor with 3.1 million S-Pixels + 3.1 million R-Pixels, the Fuji FinePix S20 Pro is a professional level camera which Fuji claim has a greater dynamic range and better signal-to-noise ratio compared to conventional digital cameras. The SR technology uses pairs of photodiodes in place of a solitary pixel which combine to capture tonal detail missed by conventional single-pixel CCDs, particularly in low-light and high contrast scenes. The camera also has a Super EBC Fujinon 6x optical zoom lens (equivalent to 35 - 210mm on a 35mm camera), dual card formats (xD-Picture Card™ and Microdrive™), full manual control, silky-smooth VGA movie recording (30 fps) with sound, and is supplied with Fuji's Hyper Utility HS-V2 software allowing RAW file data to be fine tuned (including sharpness, colour balance, dynamic range).
