The C-8080 Wide Zoom opens up a wide array of professional and artistic options for creative photography with exceptional image results. A 2/3 inch CCD solid-state image pickup gives you an effective 8.0 million pixels giving you images up to 3,264 x 2,448, allowing highly detailed prints up to A3 and over in size. The very high-quality optical system has a 5x optical zoom, a focal length of 7.1 – 35.6mm (equivalent to 28 – 140mm lens in 35mm format), and is comprised of 15 lenses in 13 groups (including 2 aspherical lens elements and 3 ED lenses to help minimise distortion and chromatic aberration). A 240,000 pixel EVF (electronic viewfinder) can be used to compose your shots and the camera also has a 1.8" sunshine colour TFT LCD monitor with 134,000 pixels.
