Shipped with a 32Mb memory card and Li-ion rechargeable battery, the Olympus Mju 500 continues on from the stylish Mju 400 and 410. Cased in a weatherproof metal body, the camera has a 3x optical zoom and a large 2.5" LCD (the crystals in the LCD are arranged in a radial pattern to allow wide veiwing angles of up to 160 degrees). There's 20 scene programmes to help get great shots in all conditions with the ultimate of ease, including an underwater scene programme for use when the camera is housed in the optional underwater casing.
